Yeonwoo’s agency denies dating rumours with Lee Min Ho

After reports of South Korean star Lee Min Ho and former Momoland member Yeonwoo’s dating rumours spread like a wildfire, it was the ‘Boys Over Flowers’ actor’s agency MYM Entertainment who first denied the Korean news portals claims.

Now a day after the news, Yeonwoo’s agency MLD Entertainment revealed that “upon checking with Yeonwoo herself, they (Lee Min Ho and Yeonwoo) have a close senior-junior relationship.” Clearing the air, they further added that the belated response was due to ‘filming delays in Yeonwoo’s upcoming drama ‘Dali and Cocky Prince’.

Previously, Koreaboo had quoted Yeonwoo’s agency, “Yeonwoo is currently in the middle of filming for a drama so it is hard to confirm with her. We are still in the process of confirming.”

On the other hand, Lee Min Ho’s agency had sent out a statement that read, “They are just acquaintances. They are not dating each other.” Further referring to the viral movie date photos taken in a parking lot, the agency claimed, “They didn’t go to the movies with just two of them. There were other friends as well. The pictures seem like it (but it’s not true.)”

Meanwhile, some people also speculated that the two actors might have violated the current Seoul’s social distancing rules, which allows gather of only two people after 6pm. To this, MYM Entertainment revealed, “It was July 1. At the time, the ban was on gatherings of five or more people, and the restriction on gatherings of more than two people began on July 12.”
