Varun Dhawan is busy rehearsing for an entertaining number for ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ which he is scheduled to shoot soon. ETimes has it that the actor is regularly visiting a dance studio to perfect his moves. Choreographer Adil has directed this song. A source revealed to ETimes, “After having wrapped ‘Bhediya’, Varun Dhawan has diverted all his attention to ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. He has been prepping for this song since some time now and prefers to rehearse at a studio which is close to his home. Varun Dhawan will match steps with Anil Kapoor for this party song. They are expected to start shooting for this song by the end of August.”

Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor will be shooting for this number at a studio in Mumbai. It is still unconfirmed if the leading ladies, Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani, will join Varun and Anil in this act. Directed by Raj Mehta, who has previously called the shots for ‘Good Newwz’, this film narrates the story of two couples from different generations. ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ is a light hearted drama which talks about love and a generation gap. This family entertainer went on floors in November last year but the film’s shoot was halted after a few members from the team tested positive for COVID-19. The team of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ resumed shooting this year.

Apart from ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, Varun Dhawan will also be seen in horror drama ‘Bhediya’ with Kriti Sanon. He also has Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Sanki’ and Sriram Raghavan directed ‘Ekkis’, which is a story about Second Lieutenant Arun Kheterpal.
