Neha Dhupia on young mothers being trolled for sharing pictures of them breastfeeding their child, says such people should be pulled up | Hindi Movie News

Neha Dhupia, who gave birth to her baby girl Mehr in 2018, has been actively spreading awareness about breastfeeding and how it should be normalised. Now that she is expecting her second child, she feels glad that she has started this conversation.

Talking to a news portal, Neha reportedly said that just by talking about it, she feels empowered. The actress is glad that she started this conversation two years ago because she feels that this time around it will be better for her.

Elaborating further, Neha added that it is necessary to normalise breastfeeding in public. She recalled the time when she had to go inside the toilet of an aircraft because she didn’t want to make other people uncomfortable. According to her, we should normalise it and stop sexualising it or making a big deal out of it. The actress added that it’s her child’s nutrition and she should be able to provide it in a most comfortable space.

There have been many instances in the past when young mothers have been trolled on social media for sharing pictures of them breastfeeding their kid. Neha feels that such people need to get their head out of the gutter. She added that they have been through the same process in their house so they have no right to do that to other women. According to her, such people should be pulled up for their act.
